Bear lake was an outstanding location to view. We stopped at a wayside to view and rest. There were many birds around. I noticed a nest left over from the spring. 
The wild flowers in the region were beautiful. The bachelor buttons are just memories as are the blue, purple, and yellow flowers that I am not sure of their names.
There were plenty of prong horn and mule deer. All stayed away from the road.
We made it to Baker City at about 6:00 PM. Anne made it soon after. The city is a destination. I will have to take pictures.
